Description
We’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our global infrastructure team in Petone. This is a hands-on role supporting both on-prem and Azure environments across multiple regions, working alongside our cloud, security, and development teams to keep our network secure, scalable, and rock-solid.
What you’ll do:
Managing and monitoring customer VPNs across on-premises and Azure environments Providing technical networking support to our global development and infrastructure teams.
Designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure networking components including VNets, subnets, VPN gateways, and Azure VWAN.
Applying advanced networking concepts such as SD-WAN, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, NAT, and VPN.
Configuring and managing firewalls across cloud and on-premises environments (Azure and Fortigate).
Ensuring network performance, availability, and security through proactive monitoring and optimisation.
Collaborating with security and cloud teams to implement secure and scalable connectivity solutions.
Reviewing and validating draft network design documentation, providing feedback, updates, and selecting final designs for implementation.
Managing network documentation, standards, and change control processes.
Assisting in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex connectivity issues.
