We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to join our fast-paced, innovative global technology team. This role is based in Petone, Wellington.

What you’ll do:
Observe and understand our existing Kanban-based processes, then suggest ways to evolve and improve them through practical Agile practices.
Facilitate and adapt agile processes that fit the team’s needs, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all framework.
Coach and mentor cross-functional teams, encouraging greater self-organisation, maturity, and accountability.
Remove blockers and smooth delivery workflows, driving continuous improvement across the team.
Run retrospectives and other feedback loops to help the team experiment and grow.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Project Managers to refine the backlog, prioritise work, and ensure transparency with stakeholders.
Build strong relationships across teams and foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Track key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to help improve delivery outcomes.
What you’ll bring:
5+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams, ideally in complex environments.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Comfortable operating in environments with ambiguity and introducing change without disruption.
Practical knowledge of Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
